How to disable “This copy of Microsoft Office is not genuine” notification

After installing the Office Genuine Advantage notification (KB949810) from Microsoft updates some office users were falsely accused by notifications like “This copy of Microsoft Office is not genuine”.  Here is a small “how to” which will show you how to disable this notifications.

How to disable Office Genuine Advantage Notification in Office 2007 :

1. Open any Office 2007 application. Here I will be showing the procedure using MS Excel.
2. Click on the Office icon located at the left top in the Office Window.
   
3. There click on the “Excel Options” .
4. Click on the Excel Add-Ins in the left sidebar.
   
5. In the manage list select COM Add-Ins and click on “Go”.
6. In the COM Add-Ins Window uncheck the Office genuine Advantage Add-In.
   
7. Click Ok. 
8. 8.Repeat the same procedure for all office apps.
